NOTE: Please note that all these locations are at an altitude of 4000 m (13100 ft) or more. All the participants will need to prepare themselves accordingly.
1. Chicham to Srimokhadang Fu (Giant Lady Cave)
- Distance: 7 km
- Terrain: Medium difficulty
- Duration: 2 to 2.5 hours one way.
A short trek up a mountain trail which takes you to a mysterious ancient cave with many folk stories associated with it.
2. Chicham to Morang Fu (cave)
- Distance: 4 km
- Terrain: Easy
- Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours one way.
An easy hike from Kibber or Chicham to a small natural cave which is used by locals and gaddi shepherds for shelters during certain times of year,
3. Chicham to Sambalungba
- Distance: 6 km
- Terrain: Easy
- Duration: 2 hours one way.
Easy, scenic hike in and around a local tributary of Spiti river. Can be started from Kibber or Chicham.
4. Chicham to Dulla
- Distance: 3.5 km
- Terrain: Easy
- Duration: 1 hour one way.
Easy and leisurely walk around Chicham village
5. Chicham to Gete Village via Kibber
- Distance: 10 km
- Terrain: Easy
- Duration: 2 hours one way.
Amazing view of Key monastery and Spiti River
6. Chicham to Takli Nala
- Distance: 7 km
- Terrain: Easy
- Duration: 2 hours one way.
Easy, scenic hike in and around a local tributary of Spiti river.
7. Kibber to Tashigang Village
- Distance: 12 km
- Terrain: Easy
- Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours one way.
Long hike that can be done from Kibber or Chicham (16 km) with great views of Spiti river and Key. Passes Getey village.
8. Kibber/Chicham to Parang La Trek
- Terrain: Difficult
- Duration: 4 days. 2 days to Paralng La and 2 days back to Kibber /Chicham.
Instead of crossing over to Laddakh from Parang La, trekkers will trek back to Chicham or Kibber.
